Two FREE Yoga Options for MMHC Patients

Welcome, I’m Ellen Cremer, owner of Gold Country Yoga, partnering with MMHC to offer you access to two great options: live Yoga classes and online video classes—both free of charge.  As a Yoga Therapist, my focus isn’t on intense exercise, competition, or perfect postures. Instead, I offer simple, easy-to-follow practices designed to support your physical, mental, and emotional well-being in a mindful and compassionate way.  Try it for yourself today!

Option 1: Drop-In Classes at Gold Country Yoga Studio

Take care of your body with mindful, therapeutic Yoga in a supportive, community setting. My classes are very accessible; you do not need Yoga experience or be able to touch your toes!

Chair-Based Yoga • Fridays, 10am -11am
A safe, accessible class using a chair to enjoy seated postures, gentle stretches, and breathwork to improve circulation, and reduce stiffness and stress. Perfect for those with limited mobility or balance.

Gentle Therapeutic Yoga • Fridays, 11:15am – 12:15pm
This class of mindful movements, stretching and relaxation leaves you feeling more at home in your body, more relaxed and at ease. Beginner-friendly and includes standing and floor-based postures.

Classes are held at Gold Country Yoga and are first-come first-served; no sign-up is required, just come to class! If it’s your first time, please arrive a few minutes early; we have wheelchair parking and access.

Option 2: Online Classes to Practice Anytime at Home

Designed to support your well-being, even just a few minutes of gentle movement and deep breathing exercises each day can make a big difference.  Sessions range from 5 to 60 minutes and include a variety of practices: Gentle Movements, Restorative Yoga, Standing and Seated Practices, Breathwork, Mindfulness, and Guided Relaxation.

Special introduction classes are available for beginners so you can learn all the basics, at an accessible pace, to meet your needs and interests; and to inspire a lasting home practice.
