Yin & Restorative Yoga

This slow-moving and quiet practice is a fabulous way to extend a little care to yourself at the end of week. All postures are floor-based and done either seated or lying down. Using the support of the floor, blankets and cushions allows you to sink into postures without active effort, releasing tension from the connective tissue and joints and giving your body some time to rest, recharge and restore.
If you are looking for a way to reduce stress and tension or simply want to treat yourself and your body to something special, this class is for you. The quiet nature of these practices creates space to settle any build up emotions, naturally bringing forward a sense of wholeness, well-being and ease.
All are welcome. Props are provided. I suggest avoiding any caffeinated drinks before class.
