Yin Yoga for the Heart: Opening to Joy
January 17 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
$36.00
According to Chinese Medicine, the Heart is associated with emotional well-being, connection, and joy. It’s also an area where we often hold stress and unprocessed emotions, which can show up as both physical and emotional tension. When the Heart meridian is out of balance, this may be experienced as feelings such as sadness, grief, anxiety, or irritability.
This gentle Yin Yoga workshop invites you to slow down, turn inward, and reconnect with your body. Supported, floor-based postures are held for several minutes at a time, allowing the body to gradually soften and release tension in the chest, shoulders, and upper body. Poses are practiced seated or lying down, with no active effort, creating a sense of ease and rest.
Through stillness and mindful attention, this practice supports relaxation and emotional balance—creating space for the heart’s innate qualities of ease, compassion, and joy to emerge naturally.
This class is suitable for all levels and is especially supportive if you’re seeking stress relief, or a quiet space to reset and reconnect.
