This workshop is focused on rest, healing and rejuvenation and is a complete reset for your nervous system. Ups and downs in our personal lives and changes in the world can leave us feeling stressed, overwhelmed tense and exhausted. Once our nervous system is out of balance it can further affect our response to life events, we feel less resilient and may even perceive difficult situations as more stressful than they are. Restorative Yoga is an amazing way to break this cycles and re-establish a sense of balance and ease.
Poses are set up with blankets and other props to gently stretch and open the body while providing comfort, support and safety. Relaxing in each pose for several minutes at a time while engaging with mindful breathing practices allows your body and mind to truly rest. Any symptoms of stress will melt away in these wonderfully soothing poses.
You will leave this experience feeling grounded, refreshed, balanced and relaxed!
