A Bit of Everything

Let’s enjoy all that Yoga has to offer! After warming up the body with easy but active movements we’ll explore a series of Yoga postures to help build strength and mobility. We’ll pay a little extra attention to the hips, back and shoulders since those are common areas to present with imbalances and tension. Towards the end of class we’ll wind down with floor-based stretching postures, relaxation and a five minute meditation. Class moves at a slow pace inviting a mindful awareness of your body, your breath and yourself!

We’ll start out with active movements to warm up the body followed by a few static postures to help build strength and stability in the body. Towards the end of class we’ll wind down with stretching, breath work and relaxation 🙂
Note: This is a mixed-level class. Variation will be offered. But if you are new to Yoga or are recovering from an injury try ‘Gentle Movement’ instead.
